According to recent reports, the storyline of the forthcoming movie, "Captain America: Civil War," will reportedly focus on control and accountability rather than the Superhero Registration Act.
According to the site BirthMoviesDeath, the upcoming "Captain America" sequel will not be about "unmasking and secret identities." In the "Civil War" comic book penned by Mark Millar and Steve McNiven, this reportedly was the main focus of the story wherein the government wanted individuals with superpowers to register as part of the Superhero Registration Act. The site clarified that in the movie, "there is no Registration Act."
The BirthMoviesDeath report cited that the "Captain America: Civil War" film will feature "Accords" which is a global mandate that will govern the superheroes. Apart from that, the conflict between "Captain America" and "Iron Man" in the movie will reportedly stem from the question of who is responsible, superhero accountability and to whom these individuals should be answerable to. Both superheroes are fighting for good however Tony Stark has become aware of his responsibility to the world while Steve Rogers has a rather doubtful view of government control given the events in the "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" movie. In that movie, S.H.I.E.L.D. was revealed to be a Hydra front.
The conflict between these two superheroes will be interesting to watch, since the responsibility and accountability debate would cut both ways, stated the site. BirthMoviesDeath wrote, "Who is responsible when the Avengers get into a battle that causes civilian casualties... but also can the Avengers be told by a world governing body not to get involved in a terrible situation where lives are at risk simply because the local government says to stay out?"
Meanwhile, the latest movie stills released for "Captain America: Civil War" provided fans a quick look on the two superhero teams, reports Movie Pilot. Part of Captain America's team are Hawkeye, Agent 13, Falcon (and Redwing), The Winter Soldier and Ant-Man. On the other hand, Stark's Iron Man team has War Machine, Black Panther, Vision and the Black Widow.
Fans would have to wait until May 6, 2016 when "Captain America: Civil War" is released to see how the storyline will play out.
