Pretty Little Liars [PLL] Season 6 News: Spoiler Alert, the Girls Get on with Their Lives after College; Showrunner Reveals if the Series is Coming to an End

With the five-year time jump of "Pretty Little Liars'' Season 6, viewers will see grown-up characters, as they try to move on from finding out who A actually is after tormenting them for so long. In the teaser promo of the next episodes, the girls have gone their separate ways and entered college for the preparation of their careers.

Meanwhile, Hanna has gone to New York and become engaged but it may or may not be with Caleb as showrunner Marlene King refuses to reveal specific details, "I can't say who it's too. It might be Caleb, it might be not. A lot can happen in five years,'' as reported by Vine Report online.

King added that season seven will be the final season. "There's a new mystery and a new story that starts up when we come back in the next episode, and that story will most likely end at the end of season seven. So it's a great final, gigantic mystery twist - I think it's the biggest we've ever had. And that feels like season seven is probably a good time to end that story. But we'll see - we have a little time to play with it. But we're definitely moving in that direction."

Pretty Little Liars Season 6 will return on January 6, 2016.

IDigital Times said there are still mysteries in store for the Pretty Little Liars Season 6 when it returns in January. The last scenes in the midseason finale gave viewers a glimpse of the time jump, with Alison in a classroom in Rosewood writing her married name, Mrs. Rollin.

What can we expect from Pretty Little Liars Season 6? One thing is the Episode 11 premiere that will be called "Of Late I Think of Rosewood." A second trailer, featuring the hash tag #5YearsForward includes several details about what is in store for the more mature liars.
