"Nexus 6 (2015)" is rumored to be released on September 29 and there are already leaks about the upcoming phablet, techradar.com has the details. Images of speculated protective case for the gadget somewhat confirms that "Nexus 6" features a fingerprint scanner on the back.
It wouldn't be much of a surprise if indeed the soon-to-be-released phablet will feature the fingerprint scanner considering that Android 6.0 Marshmallow has got the feature front and centre and Huawei - the rumored manufacturer of the "Nexus 6 (2015)" - has included it in their latest smartphones.
While the fingerprint scanner proves to be an exciting feature, images - which were posted by @OnLeaks, a renowed leaker on Twitter - revealed a bulge where the camera will be located, and not everyone is rejoicing about it.
Battle of the bulge
This elevated section in the phablet's body that houses the camera and flash - which is rumored to be 1.99 mm - will sure give the gadget its distinctive look, however, not everybody is sold on this design feature.
Although there are some who frown upon the large protruding top section, the website would like to believe that Huawei is going for the unconventional design to make space for some pretty exciting camera tech in the newest handset.
All metal design
"Nexus 6 (2015)" is rumored to go premium and be made of almost all metal, an improvement from the hard plastic back plate of the "Nexus 6 (2014)" and the rubberized plastic chassis of the "Nexus 5."
According to OnLeaks, the handset will be same or slightly smaller at some angles than Motorola's phablet at 159.4 x 78.3 6.6 to 8.5mm curved. Aside from the fingerprint sensor on the back which means that it could support biometric security, "Nexus 6 (2015)" is also reported to carry front speakers, and a USB Type-C connection, which only the OnePlus2 is sporting at the moment.
