Felicity Huffman and William H. Macy Purchase Neighboring Estate

Felicity Huffman of "The Desperate Housewives" fame and husband William H. Macy have reportedly purchased their neighboring estate in Los Angeles, which they had been eyeing for a while now. The couple bought the property for $3.6 million.

Huffman and Macy, who recently received stars on "The Hollywood Walk of Fame" for their contribution to American cinema, got married in 1997.

Huffman won an academy award for playing a transexual woman in the movie "Transamerica". She is also an eminent television personality starring in various series like "X-Files" and "Law and Order" while Macy's performance in the TV series "Shameless" earned him much critical acclaim. He is a multiple Emmy and Golden Globe nominated actor and winner of a Screen Actors Guild Award.

The couple had been eyeing the property for quite some time as they wanted to expand their home area. The property spreading across 4566 square feet is not well maintained, reports Real Estalker.

The place comprises of five bedrooms and three bathrooms with a motor court and a garage that could fit in three cars. Wide lawns sporting a swimming pool complete the exterior of the home. The interiors of the home are not very well done and may need some revamping, reports Real Estalker.

However, the home which once belonged to musician Artie Ripp, is expected to be turned into a guest home as Huffman hails from a large family.

Though the property is not all glitz and glamour, the location of the home is a big thumbs-up! The couple and their daughters can now run down to the nearby "The Grove" Mall or relax at the nearby Basalt retreat, reports Contact Music.
