Heading on to October's horrifying screams and hair-raising premiere of FX's "American Horror Story: Hotel" which is set to launch on Oct. 7? The horror series may still be holding back on its spoilers and undetailed surprises but many are aware now that the "Just Dance" singer Lady Gaga will be portraying as Elizabeth in "AHS" season 5. If you are one of the many who are curious about the hotel set for location shoot of the upcoming season, better well know some details about it.
The Hotel used for the "American Horror Story" was named Hotel Cortez. Enstarz just reported that "AHR" Hotel Cortez prices are "affordable." Denis O' Hare, one of the stars on the upcoming horror series of FX posted a photo on Twitter regarding the details of the hotel's rate prices. The photo revealed that a single room for one person costs $30 per day. While the double room for two people costs $65 per day. It also includes there a price for a parlor suite which costs $90 per day that comes with a "comprising sitting room, bedroom and bath." Sounds cheap right? Through the snapshot photo posted by O'Hare, his character was somewhat revealed for the coming season. On the twitter photo, O'Hare is having long gold-painted nails in the picture and also wearing a gold bracelet and a black skirt. Notably his character will be daring as O'Hare will be portraying a character named "Liz Taylor" who as described by Enstar is a cross-dresser, bartender, and hotel receptionist obsessed with Elizabeth Taylor.
Executive Producer Ryan Murphy revealed before in EOnline's article that the set for "American Horror Story" season 5 will be built on the Fox lot and he described the building to be a "six-story Art Deco hotel." Murphy also described the inspiration for the fifth season of AHS saying that, "It's based in the hotel in horror movies and horror troves." "We've researched several real-live hotels in downtown LA where absolutely horrifying things happened...when you check into a hotel, there are certain things beyond your control. Other people have the keys to your room; they can come in there. You're not exactly safe, it's a very unsettling idea."
"American Horror Story: Hotel" premieres on Oct. 7 at 10 pm on FX.
