The "Single Ladies" singer, Beyoncé wants to buy a property as a present for mama Knowles, and what better choice than the Houston mansion that has just been heavily price chopped to $5.9 million.
The Houston mansion belongs to media mogul, Douglas R Johnson's ex-wife, Melanie Johnson, which was first listed in April 2007 for $19 million. Melanie took over the rights of sale in 2009, reports Houston Culturemap.

Johnson filed a business bankruptcy petition in 2008 claiming that his crisis was due to the divorce. The sale of the home comes as a part of the separation deal.
The mansion claims a 25,000 square footage area on a 2 acre lot. Comprising six bedrooms and 12 full and four half bathrooms, the place is a spectacular estate, which is also being offered as a wedding venue and for events like vacation points.
Recently, it was rumored that, NBA veteran, Michael Jordan wanted to rent the place to throw a bash on the occasion of his fiftieth birthday.
The mansion is built in a mixed Italian-French style and was completed in 2002. Suspended staircases, planked floors, frescoes and huge glass windows adorn the interiors of the home. If Beyoncé bags the property, it would be one of the best buys of late. The property worth is much more than its listing price. Currently, she is renting a mansion in Bridgehampton along with Jay-Z.
