The Houston Texas' inside linebacker, Brian Cushing, has put his Missouri city mansion onthe market for $1.3 million. The home was built in 2007 and sports a Mediterranean architecture.
The lake-front property is priced quite reasonably considering its features.
The home spans across 7,007 square feet of space sitting on a 0.33 acre lot. The single family, double-story home comprises of five bedrooms and four full and two half bathrooms. Overlooking the lake in a gated community, the property features a grand entrance opening into a spacious living room, reports Realtor.com.
The house flooring is marble and a spiraling staircase leads up to the second floor. The kitchen has a center island along with state-of-the-art appliances. A media room and a game room are some of the property's other features. The media room sports a full bar and theater seats as well. The place also features a balcony overlooking the patio and the swimming pool, reports CandysDirt.com.
The property is protected by security cameras, reports Houston Chronicle.
Cushing was selected in the first round of the 2009 NFL draft and shot to fame for recording a safety against the Oakland Raiders in 2009, which made him the first Texan to record a safety since 2002. In January 2005, Cushing was titled NFL Defensive Rookie of The Year.
However, the talented linebacker has had his share of controversies. Cushing was suspended for the first four games of the 2010 season for consuming performance - enhancing substances above prescribed levels.
More recently, in the second quarter of 2012 games, Cushing suffered a ligament injury and has been on injury reserve since Oct. 8, 2012. The star player will return to the games later in 2013.
"It's what we thought, obviously, he tore his ACL and we lost him for the year, and he's going to have surgery in probably two or three weeks when the swelling goes down. It's a big blow for our team," Gary Kubaik, head coach of Houston Texas team told Yahoo Sports. "You feel so bad for Brian, because he's worked so hard, he's playing so well, [and] he's the leading tackler on our team."
