The "One Direction" star, Niall Horan, is allegedly going the Californian way. The 19-year-old singer recently purchased a gated luxury mansion in Los Angeles for $1.5 million and has already befriended his celebrity neighbors, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, who are keen to have him on their reality show, "Keeping up with the Kardashians".
The property is a brand new construction and boasts of a games room and a swimming pool. Horan requested a bar to be built, but the builders refused to put in the addition as the young singer has not yet come of "drinking age", reports entertainmentwise.com
"The guarded community, where Horan lives when he's in LA is a good investment - and it's packed with celebrity neighbors," a source told The Sun. "Niall wanted a permanent place in the States because One Direction will be spending a lot more time there this year and he didn't want to stay in a string of hotels."
The area is a star-studded place. Jennifer Lopez and Sharon Osbourne also own homes in the area.
Horan is not the only "One Direction" star who is breaking ground in the real estate market. Band-mate Harry Styles has also been receiving some property advice from businessman-investor dad. Rumors have it that Styles is eyeing to buy a property in Los Feliz, California.
"Harry is very sensible and he wants to build on his already high profile in the US," an insider told entertainmentwise.com.
Styles recently broke up with singer girlfriend Taylor Swift, who was reportedly looking into buying an estate near now ex-boyfriend's primary residence in U.K.
The boys of "One Direction" made a recent appearance on the Nickelodeon Show "iCarly" and impressed the crew of the channel so much that they might end up getting their own reality T.V show on the channel, reports Examiner.com.
