"The Vampire Diaries" star Paul Wesley recently opened up about his character's fate in the upcoming seventh season.
In an interview with TV Line, Wesley, who plays the role of Stefan Salvatore on The CW series, said that his character will not only kiss and sleep with Caroline (Candice Accola). "I'll be lip-locking with more than one woman," Wesley said.
During a previous interview with TV Guide, executive producer Caroline Dries said that Caroline and Stefan's relationship with develop in Season 7. However, the exec didn't say whether or not Stefan will only be with her.
Meanwhile, Dries said that Stefan will continue to give Caroline butterflies in her stomach.
"As much as there's chaos surrounding her, every time she looks at Stefan she gets butterflies. So, it's only a matter of time before it's like... 'You make me happy.' So, we'll see them get together soon," Dries said.
In other news, Accola recently confirmed that she's expecting her first baby with her husband. Immediately after her confirmation, fans wondered how her pregnancy will play out in the upcoming season.
During a recent interview, Accola said that some storylines for "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7 have already been written, and so far, these storylines didn't mention anything about Caroline being pregnant.
However, Accola said that she will be okay with anything Dries and executive producer Julie Plec will decide on when it comes to Caroline's character development.
Fans are speculating that if Caroline will be pregnant on the show, this could only mean that her baby will be with Stefan. However, supporters of Ian Somerhalder's Damon character also believe that there's a chance Caroline's baby could be Damon's because he is known for his crazy antics and for betraying his brother.
"The Vampire Diaries" Season 7 will premiere on The CW on Oct. 8.
