The Dead Poets Society" star, Ethan Hawke, has decided to sell his Manhattan, New York, home for $6.2 million. Hawke had purchased the home in 2005 for $3 million.

The four- story place is spread across approximately 3,500 square feet comprising of six bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms. The property is divided into two separate units; ground floor and a triplex unit. The ground floor features a living room, two bedrooms, a small kitchen and a patio overlooking a garden. The triplex unit features a parlor floor and two other floors above it. The parlor floor sports a large dine-in kitchen. It also has a formal dining room. The place sports complete wooden flooring and the ground floor.
The third floor comprises of three bedrooms and a laundry, while the fourth floor homes the master suite, a den and a roof-top terrace, reports Real Estalker.
Other than the Manhattan home, Hawke also owns a small private island in Nova Scotia. He and ex-wife Uma Thurman had purchased the island when they were together. Hawke and Thurman separated in 2003. He was allegedly involved in an affair with their nanny, Ryan, who is his current wife now.
Hawke is busy promoting his brand new movie, "Before Midnight," sequel to "Before Sunset, " which in turn is a sequel of the 1995 hit romantic drama movie, "Before Sunrise."
"Before Midnight" earned great reviews at the Sundance Film Festival. The movie is a delight in itself and does not fail to reach the levels of its predecessors, reports Vanity Fair.
The movie's release date has not been finalized yet.
