The political power pair, Bill and Hillary Clinton, is on a house hunt and looking for a place to unwind after Hillary's health scare. The couple is working with a high-profile agency, Saunders and Association, which will be helping them find a home in the area.
The Clintons seem to enjoy summers in the Hamptons and are quite keen on buying a property there. Earlier, the couple rented a home on the Lily Pond Lane for $19 million and has now decided to get a place in the celeb studded area, reports NY Post.
As Hillary Clinton gears up to step down from the Senate and plots to run for President in 2016, Saunders already has a property in its records nicknamed "The White House," reports Daily mail. The property is located in the East Hamptons area and sports a price tag of $6.5 million. It is a seven bedroom, seven bath place and features landscaped gardens with a resort-like pool, all encompassed in a gated community.
Apart from the "White House", two other properties have also been listed by Saunders to fit the couple's style and budget in the same area.
Another property located at 315 Rose Hill Rd in Water Mill is a prospective place for the power couple. The eight bedroom, 11 bath property spreads across 20,000 square feet on a 4 acre lot. Its features include a huge infinity pool, a tennis court, eight fireplaces, a wine cellar, a modern fitness center and a state-of-the-art kitchen. The home also has a koi pond, reports Curbed.
The Clintons own a home in Washington D.C and another property in Chappaqua, which they had purchased before Hillary's stint in the Senate.
Recently, Hillary was rushed to the hospital after she suffered a concussion in a fall in December 2012. Doctors revealed that she had a blood clot near the brain. However, she was discharged from the hospital early in January 2013 as she responded well to treatment, reports NY Daily News.
At the recent Golden Globe Awards, Bill Clinton announced that Hillary was doing "Great", reported PerezHilton.com.
