"Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen" will finally be released on PC version and the much anticipated title from Capcom will reportedly arrive in January.
The expanded version of the original "Dragon's Dogma" game for PC will hit the shelves this January and fans are excited to find out if the new platform offers something different than the gameplay in consoles like the PS3 or Xbox 360 people have been accustomed to seeing and playing with.
According to Forbes, "Dragon's Dogma" is one of the best RPG game titles over the last five years. The game is packed with action and has strange mechanics going on that make for a unique gaming experience.
The same report from Forbes said that judging from the screenshots taken of the console versions, there is very little difference between them and the PC version although developer Capcom says the title will have high resolution graphics and an increase in fidelity.
Dragon's Dogma first came out in 2012 as an action RPG for PS3 and Xbox 360. And as reported by PC Gamer, director Hideaki Itsuno helmed the production and development of the game. Itsuno is famous for the second until the fourth "Devil May Cry." "Dragon's Dogma" is considered a standard RPG that has character classification, quests, and fantasy-based enemies that players must go up against. But its groundbreaking Pawn system of play is what defined the title to its legion of fans.
In the said PC Gamer report, in the Pawn party system, players can use their own character and borrow other "pawns" from other players to complete their teams. Another hit feature with the fans of "Dragon's Dogma" is the type of boss battle that gamers get to enjoy. Players can use their characters to climb the backs of large enemies so specific areas can be targeted for faster kills.
