'Secrets And Lies' Season 2 Premiere & Spoilers: Michael Ealy Teases About His Role, Promises Fans TV Series Will Be More Disturbing

Michael Ealy will be starring in the Season 2 of the crime anthology series, "Secrets and Lies," and he revealed that the new season will be more disturbing than Season 1.

In his interview with Zap2it for his upcoming thriller, "The Perfect Guy," Ealy described the Season 2 of the show as more "emotionally charged," and he revealed that there will be more family drama.

Ealy was asked how Season 2 was going to be different than Season 1. He said that the characters will bring in a different kind of energy and it is his goal to give the second season a different tone and feel from the first season, which starred Ryan Phillippe.

It seems like Ealy has been taking some pretty creepy roles lately as he played a killer in "The Following," and he plays a psychotic stalker in the upcoming film "The Perfect Guy." Ealy was asked why he accepted the role in the new show where there is a possibility for his character to be murdered.

He replied, "It's fun to play on the edge a little bit." He said that he wants to "create a wide body of work," and playing these kinds of roles helps him achieve his goals.

According to Fashion & Style, he also expressed his excitement as it will be the first time he will be playing a biracial character. Ealy said that Terry O'Quinn, who will be playing his father, will bring a whole different mystery and energy to the story, and he is excited for the fans to watch it.

It was earlier reported that Juliette Lewis will reprise her role as Detective Cornell and Ealy will be with other newcomers including Jordana Brewster, Eric Winter, Mekia Cox, Charlie Barnett and AnnaLynne McCord.

It is already known that Season 2 of the show will revolve around the death of Ealy's character, Eric Warner, who was killed during his promotion party in his father's equity firm.

"Secrets and Lies" Season 2 will premiere on ABC by 2016.
