'5SOS' Luke Hemmings Reveals 'Fight' Among Bandmates and Importance of Treating Bandmates Like Family

While the band "5 Seconds of Summer" is undeniably one of the famous, promising pop-punk bands now and ultimately has captured many fans all over the world, the band members also has mishaps and disagreements. The band's heartthrob Luke Hemmings, the lead vocalist of the group, recently disclosed that the band's success now was due to the offstage fights and misunderstandings of the band members.

According to Inquisitr, Hemmings said that the songwriting process for the band is tedious and hard as his co-bandmates have differing and strong opinions when they write songs but this on the other hand, he said helps them as a whole because all of them were able to share some inputs on the songs. Hemmings said that, "without the arguments they could end up creating mediocre songs."

The 19-year-old "5 Seconds of Summer" vocalist also reveals in Fashion n Style article that, "When there are fights within the band, it's usually about music and rehearsals."

He also said in Unreality TV that though he and his "5SOS" bandmates have differences, he knows that it is important learning to get by saying. "You kind of have to learn to live with these other three people and it'd be terrible if you didn't get on. You kind of know what each other likes and doesn't like at this point, so that makes it a lot easier."

Hemmings also emphasized treating bandmates like family and thus the wearisome trouble they deal with along the way are actually forgotten when they perform on stage.

The Australian pop punk band "5SOS" which includes Calum Hood, Ashton Irwin, Luke Hemmings, and Michael Clifford are off to be finishing their successful "Rock Out With Your Socks Out" tour this coming Sept. 13 and the guys are still headed now for four more shows before they head back to Australia. "5 Seconds of Summer" will also be going to be releasing their new album "Sounds Good, Feels Good" next month Oct. 23.
