'RHONY' News: Heather Thomson Officially Leaving, Wants to Focus Being A Mom and Running Her Company

After Us Magazine broke the news in regards to Heather Thomson's exit, the "Real Housewives of New York City" participant exclusively told the news website that she's made her decision. She then explained that she wants to focus on being a mom and running her company "Yummie by Heather Thomson."

"When the opportunity came to do this show, I had this list of pros and cons, three years in, the pros list is just gone. They don't exist anymore."

Thomson then added that Andy Cohen, "RHONY" executive producer, understood her decision.

"He knows I have a big business that needs my focus. He's proud of me and the job that I did on the show. He graciously complimented my integrity, who I am and who I've always been."

People then reported that Thomson cited the reason on why she wanted to end her TV career. During her interview with ET, Thomson stated:

"The reality of it [is] that I just can't do it anymore, I have to focus on the things that are really, really important in my life, and that's my family and my business. While I'm filming the show, I also am running a multimillion dollar business, and it takes away a lot of my time from the company."

Her best friend and castmate then confirmed her exit stating that she is in full support of her friend's decision. She then stated:

"We had some really good times, Heather is a very accomplished and honorable person, and she brought that and so much more to the show. She's an incredible mom and business woman, with or without the show. There is no doubt Heather will always do great things. While she won't be part of the show, she is still a part of my life, and for that I'm grateful. Holla!"

Thomson joined "Real Housewives of New York City" three years ago and has gone through numerous scandals.
