'The Flash' Season 2 Spoilers & Cast News: Danielle Panabaker Talks Time Jump & Alter Ego Killer Frost

"The Flash" season 2 star Danielle Panabaker recently opened up about her character in the upcoming installment.

In an interview with Collider, Panabaker, who plays the role of Caitlyn Snow on The CW series, said that the upcoming installment will address the issues and events that happened in Season 1. Although there will a six-month time-jump, Panabaker said fans should watch the premiere episode of "The Flash" Season 2 for all the major reveals.

"The season premiere will address some stuff from the finale; it's not like there's some title card that says, 'Six months later.' We will deal with the singularity and everything that's going on," she said.

Meanwhile, Panabaker also talked about the two new cast members that will be introduced in the upcoming installment.

"We're really, really lucky. The two biggest additions to our cast this season are Shantel and Teddy and they're both so wonderful. They truly feel like they belong on our show," she said.

According to Design & Trend, Panabaker was referring to Teddy Sears and Shantel VanSanten. The former will play the role of Jay Garrick, the first person to have ever been known as The Flash, and VanSanten will play the role of Patty Spivot, Joe's new partner.

In other news, Panabaker also talked about her villainous alter ego Killer Frost. "No one is more excited for Caitlyn to become Killer Frost than I am. Unfortunately I don't know when that will happen on the show," she said.

In the past, the executive producers of "The Flash" confirmed that Panabaker's alter ego will already be introduced in Season 2. However, it seems that fans have to wait until they see her in the upcoming episodes.

"The Flash" Season 2 will also introduce new Speedsters and meta-humans.

"The Flash" Season 2 will premiere on The CW on Oct. 6.
