Pink defends herself from the bashers who came in the defense of the recent VMA event. Even Demi Lovato reacted to Pink's tweets which made the "Just Give Me A Reason" singer a reason to start defending herself from what she has said. Among all of Pink's tweets, the part that might have boiled up Demi must have been when she said, "I felt sad because music is supposed to inspire. It saved my life. This trash won't save any kids life. In a world that is even scarier and with lives still worth saving, who will stand up and have soul? Disenfranchised to say the least."
Now, Pink has responded to a bunch of social media backlash including Demi Lovato's tweet saying that her "Cool For The Summer" hit may not save any kid's life but her other tracks like "Skyscraper" may have done well in helping people.
Pink said that she has no problems with Demi and that Demi should "look for a feud elsewhere". Pink continued her defense saying that she even forgot that Demi performed at the VMAs. Nonetheless, Pink says that she stands by what she said. She also continued by saying that she did not intend for the angry people of the world to make this something that it isn't.
Pink also said that this is exactly why she is sad about the VMA event, and even about the world in general, as everyone is always looking out for a fight. Pink said that she never mentioned Demi or anyone else and she was simply talking to a friend who was disappointed about the show, and Pink just happened to agree with him.
Pink seems to have a problem about the current world in general as she disses social media people saying that everyone can make this into whatever they like, "'cause that's who we are now, I guess".
Nonetheless, It also looks like this social media ranting had affected Pink in more ways than she may try to show. She tried to neutralize all the tension her tweets has created by saying, "In other news, it's gonna be a beautiful day, I hope you look up from your keyboards and enjoy it". So, whether Pink was able to erase all the tension she started or not, we can't tell just yet.
