"It's a lot of fun to play in a night session match. I thought tonight was very special..John is one of the best servers in the game. The pace on the second serve is unreal. You just have to make sure you hold your own serve."

A very feasible point of strategy that eventually worked in favor of Federer indeed. Roger Federer will be facing Frenchman Richard Gasquet in the next round into the quarterfinals, with the former having already won over 17 grand slam record titles.
