Average UK Buyer Wants a Three Bed Home Priced at around £200,000

It appears that buyers in the UK would prefer a house with a three bedroom in the suburbs. New research shows that the average UK home buyer would likely to have a budget of 205,221, and has bought two properties in their lifetime as stated in a report by Gaspark.

According to a study by Sarah Beeny's estate agency Tepilo, 18 percent of the buyers are those with spouse or partner, and 17 percent came from those aged 18 to 24 years. They buy their first home. Propertywire reports that in buying for a property, the most important consideration is the location. People who list location as their top priority is at 65 percent, while 56 percent is composed of buyers who consider the number of bedrooms. Another 41 percent consider the garden as top priority.

Location of properties varies from one buyer to another. Fifty-six percent of the buyers would look into transport link as the most important factor. Having access to shops, supermarkets is important to 44 percent of the buyers. Also, 39 percent of the buyers would prioritize low crime rate.

A good entertainment area, such as a local pub is vital factor for 23 percent of the buyers. While 35 percent of the 18 to 24 years old have considered it very important when buying a home.  On the other hand, buyers who consider relationship as relevant, having family and friends nearby is vital for the 36 percent.

Three bed properties are the most popular at 45 percent of the buyers. Two bedroom houses are also popular for the 27 percent.  An 18 percent of the buyers would want four bedroom houses, and less than 5 percent would want to purchase properties with studio and one bedroom properties.

Buyers acquire properties for different reasons. Research shows that 32 percent of the buyers obtain properties as investments. Investments are very important for those aged 35 to 44.  Around 45 percent of the buyers have acquired the property as a home for their children.  The buyers that accumulate property for a traditional pension falls at 24 percent.
