The adorable Cobble Hill carriage house showed up on the market in April 2014 for $8 million. Then the price previously went down to $6.995 million before selling it to the 'Feels like Home to Me' singer for $6.25 million in May.
The former 1840s firehouse includes a large exposed wood beams, a wood-burning fireplace, plank floors and a glassed-in greenhouse.
Jones already filed a plan to convert the newly bought property into a large private mansion.
Before buying the property, the 'Don't Know Why' hit maker reportedly lived for a short stint at Cooper Sq. near Manhattan's Astor Place, which she listed in the market for $6.7 million in 2013. She also still owns a townhouse around the corner from her newly purchased house at 166 Amity St., which she bought back in 1999 for $4.9 million.
