Caitlyn Jenner Denies Speeding in Fatal Car Crash that Killed a Woman

Caitlyn Jenner talked about her previous involvement in a fatal car crash in California back in February that killed a 69 year old woman. The reality star said she only remembers very little about it and insisted she was not over speeding during that time.

According to Chron, authorities completed the investigation last month, in the report, it suggest that Jenner "set off a chain of events" by driving at a speed deemed unsafe for road conditions, which resulted in Kim Howe's car slamming into forthcoming traffic, resulting in her death.

Los Angeles County prosecutors are considering whether to charge Kim Kardashian's dad with a misdemeanor. During an interview with the U.S. breakfast show 'Today,' the former gold medalist Olympian claimed she remembers "very little" about the multicar traffic accident and she "remember it happening and that's about it."

"Obviously it's something... I'm in litigation and I can't really talk about, but a tragedy like this, you'll never get over it. You just learn to live with it the best you possibly can," she said.

She recalled, "I was under the speed limit, I was going 46 (miles per hour) in a 50 (mile per hour zone) - my air bag didn't even go off. All I needed was probably a half a second of time (to avoid the collision). I almost got stopped (sic), but couldn't quite get it (her vehicle) stopped... I don't think speed was (a factor)..."

Jenner, who is not under the influence during the accident, could be put behind bars up to a year, if prosecutors proceed with the charges against the 'I Am Cait' star.

The conviction would be "That is the worst case scenario, she said. "I will say the men's county jail, it is an enormous problem that they would put trans women in a men's county jail, but those are things we're looking into."
