Yankees star Alex Rodriguez has rented his beachfront Miami mansion for more than $125,000 a month after being unable to sell the place, according to the Daily Mail.
One Sotheby's International Realty had the house, at 4358 North Bay Road, listed at $38 million. The Real Deal reported the house had been taken off the market in mid-January.
A-Rod purchased the 20,000 square feet mansion for $24 million back in 2010 when he was dating Cameron Diaz. The home on North Bay Road covers 19,861-square-foot, comes equipped with 16 security cameras and 275-feet of water frontage overlooking Biscayne Bay. It comes with a full gym with sauna and steam rooms, an outdoor pool and an independent generator that works in case of power outages.
The place is also hurricane insured and made with 'thick impact glass' and has a 'home generator'. A batting cage also exists for some baseball practice .The residence is well protected with surrounding walls and a huge gate, reports Yahoo.
