Keyshawn Johnson Re-lists Calabasas Property for $10.5 Million

Former NFL wide receiver, Keyshawn Johnson, has relisted his Calabasas, California property with a new asking price of $10.5 million. He had first listed the home for $11.9 million in March 2011.

In late 2011, the price of the home was reduced to $9.5 million. Failing to sell even after the drastic price cut, the home popped up in the market again in early 2012 asking for $10.99 million before dropping to the current $10.5 million.

The home is a Richard Landry designed residence spread across 11,746 square feet. The double storey home comprises of six bedrooms and seven full and two half bathrooms. The Mediterranean-style house features a grand foyer, a study/library, two formal living rooms and dining areas, a game room and a screening room. A spa and a modern fitness center are also part of the property, reports Regator.

Outside, the home features large lawns lined with fruit-bearing trees, a sunken basketball court, a barbecue center, a pool with a fit-in spa and a four car garage as well, reports Real Estalker.

Johnson has had a hard time maintaining the property as well. In 2009, the player was accused of not making timely payments toward his mortgage and building expenses. Gordon. S. Gibson Inc, a construction company, filed a lien on Johnson claiming that the player owns around $1,115,500 to the company in "supervision and construction" charges.

Johnson played 11 seasons with the NFL and retired in 2007. Since then he has been a broadcaster for ESPN. Apart from the games, Johnson is also known for his interior designing abilities. In 2008, he featured in the A&E Interior Design T.V series as well.

Currently, Johnson is gearing up to produce a new drama series based on NFL player Brian Kelly and himself, which will air on Starz channel.
