There will be a lot of big bad characters as "Criminal Minds" return for Season 11 by the end of the month. In the recent teaser video for Season 11, the show seems to promise more exciting episodes following its premiere.
According to Christian Today, the video shows team leader Hotch (Thomas Gibson) along with the Behavioral Analysis Unit trying to solve another bizarre and twisted case. It was earlier reported that the premiere will feature a gruesome case.
In the said video, character Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore) described the new "unsub" as someone who "overwhelms his victims silently and then injects them."
Showrunner Erica Messer teased in an earlier interview that this new suspect paints his victims' faces, and the BAU will discover why he has that M.O. Messer revealed that this new predator has an unpleasant face which he himself has a hard time looking at.
Aside from fighting another gruesome killer, it seems like the unit will also deal with a mole inside the department. According to the report, this mole may be tipping off the unsub of the investigation of the unit. This is considered to be one of the big reveals as "Criminal Minds" Season 11 premieres.
According to Design & Trend, Messer also teased other bad characters which will be featured in Season 11. She said that the team will also be investigating a network of hit men called "The Dirty Dozen." According to her, the investigation will not conclude in the first episode and will follow the story arc of this villainous network which will culminate in the Season 11 finale.
It was reported earlier that Aisha Tyler will be joining the cast as Dr. Tara Lewis who is a forensic psychologist who will help the team solve cases.
"Criminal Minds" Season 11 will premiere on CBS on September 30.
