Undeniably Game of Thrones has swept all possible avenues through which man may enjoy himself. Be it a simple paperback, television show, or even board games, card games and video games, name it all and Game of Thrones can stretch itself in all the merchandising possibilities.
And to add something new to what was mentioned above, HBO recently unveiled a "Game of Thrones" pinball machine, made by Stern Pinball. Yup you read it right; it's a GOT pinball machine, a machine which used to be a thing of the past.
The machine was created by the longtime pinball manufacturer who inculcated the concept of knighthood in their design waving the banners of the house of Stark, Lannister, Greyjoy, Baratheon, Martell or Tyrell. According to a report via mashable, the pinball come in three models which include "features that are fit for a king - or at least a pinball wizard - including an interactive fire-breathing dragon on the playing field, details and artwork inspired by the show, an animated mechanical Sword of Multiball [that] holds back reinforcements until it's time to attack and more."
The pinball machines which come in three different models are now available for pre-order and will begin shipping this fall. Prices would normally range around $6000 to $8000, starting from $5995 for the pro edition of the said machine. Aside from the machine itself, especially on the limited edition which is priced at $8,795, there would be "a Certificate of Authenticity, a numbered plaque, a designer-autographed playfield, a beautiful, hand- drawn cabinet and back glass artwork by Bob Stevlic. Exclusive, glossy, black- powder-coated, laser-cut side armor features dragon elements of the Targaryen Sigil and is inscribed with the Targaryen House motto, 'Fire & Blood,' all highlighted with a rich, red-mirrored backing."
