Singer-songwriter Neil Young is saying goodbye to his tropical retreat on Hawaii's Big Island. According to Bloomberg, Young listed his Hawaiian estate for $24.5 million. The 2-acre paradise comes with a 4,530-square-foot bungalow, a pool house, two guest cottages, and 830 feet of ocean frontage of Kohala Coast. The compound of legendary singer is beautifully located on a "private, lush peninsula between two ocean bays,'' according to the listing. "It's one of the best locations along this entire coastline,'' listing agent Carrie Nicholson says.
According to the Realtor, the spacious and inviting verandas of the property overlook the ocean. It also boasts a bounty of tropical fruit trees that include lemon, pomelo, mango, papaya, and coconut. According to the agent, musician Neil Young has owned the retreat for over 20 years. He told Parade magazine in 2012, "When I'm at my house in Hawaii, I love to be in the water, I love to paddleboard and just hang out with friends.''
