Former NFL quarterback, Kurt Warner's Arizona home is set for an auction. The famous footballer's home will go under the hammer on Feb 27, 2013. However, before the auction, the home will host an open house screening of the NFL Super Bowl XLVII slated to be held Sunday, February 3, 2013.
The screening is a marketing stunt as agents hope to pitch the home to potential buyers before, after and during the game. Warner opted for the private auction after failing to sell it in the past one and a half year, reports Business Journal.
He first listed the home for around $5 million in 2011. The home has been sitting unclaimed on the market since then.
The residence is an 11,300 square feet home featuring seven bedrooms and six and a half bathrooms including two large master suites. A private gated driveway leads up to the entrance of the house that opens into a formal living room. The place also has a piano room, a family room, a theater room and a gourmet kitchen as well. A state-of-the-art fitness center, a game room and a wet bar open up to the backyard, reports Professional Athlete Homes.
Outside, the place boasts of an infinity pool and an artificial waterfall emerging out of the home's main unit. A gazebo, a spa and a detached guest house are some of its other luxury amenities, reports Business Insider.
Kurt Warner played for three NFL teams St. Louis Rams, Arizona Cardinals and New York Giants in his NFL career. He is also known for his charitable organization "First Things First" that he started with wife, Brenda in 2001. Kurt is also a potential Hall of Famer.
