Rumors have it that the "Wide Awake" singer, Katy Perry and her equally glamorous boyfriend/hit maker, John Mayer have been on the hunt for a new home in Los Angeles.
Perry and Mayer have been going steady for around six months. However, the couple has not yet decided to move in together. The home hunt is exclusively for Perry and Mayer is just being a supportive partner, reports Real Estalker.
Currently, Perry lives in the Hollywood Hills home that she and ex-husband, Russell Brand had purchased in 2011. The property was transferred to Perry during their divorce in 2012. She recently sold her Tribeca home in 2012 for $2.6 million. On the other hand, Mayer owns a bachelor pad in Montana and a condo in New York as well. In 2011, he sold his Pacific Palisades mansion at a loss.
Currently, Mayer and Perry hang out in the former's residence making music, watching movies and cooking, reports The Sun.
Mayer has been a major womanizer and has jilted celebrity girlfriends like Jennifer Anniston, Cameron Diaz and Taylor Swift after short bouts of affairs. However, his relationship with Perry seems like a promising one.
Initially, the couple had kept their relationship a private affair since they started dating in July. They conformed their relationship publicly in November 2012. This is the longest Mayer has dated anyone. He is so serious about the relationship that he might even propose to Perry in the coming few months, reports The National Ledger.
The couple was spotted at President Barack Obama's Inauguration Ceremony where Perry performed at the Kids' Inauguration Ball. They together travelled to Katie's hometown in Santa Barbara where she introduced Mayer to her parents. More recently, the duo was spotted taking a romantic hike in Los Angeles, reports Yahoo.
