Defying one controversy over another, Donald Trump yet has another political remark that made his female counterparts claw at his personality traits.
In an article on edition.cnn.com, Trump defended his recent comment about fellow GOP candidate Carly Fiorina - who was once a former Hewlett-Packard CEO. On a Fox news interview with reporter Megyn Kelly, Fiorina just had this to say regarding The Donald's side comment:
"Well, I think those comments speak for themselves...Honestly, Megyn, I'm not going to spend a single cycle wondering what Donald Trump means."
And she added: "Maybe -- just maybe -- I'm getting under his skin a little bit, because I am climbing in the polls."
Still in the same article, Hilary Clinton was somehow quick enough to say her opinion on the Fiorina's "face" matter:
"We hear from candidates on the other side about turning back the clock on women's rights and there is one particular candidate who just seems to delight in insulting women..I'm just saying, if he emerges, I would love to debate him."
Despite this negative criticism on women, Donald Trump fervently dissuades insulting Fiorina's physical attributes, according to another report on the bostonglobe.com. The Donald insists he was just referring to Carly Fiorina's "persona" and not her looks.
Meanwhile, Clinton continues to build her image by drawing women supporters during a speech held in Washington recently, according to the same article. Her subject matter focused on expressing full support for equal pay, higher rates, Planned Parenthood, as well as the right for women to an abortion. She also acknowledged her error of using her personal email server while serving as a former US Secretary of State. Now that's humility in public service.
