Following the listing of Mary Tyler Moore Show's famous bachelorette pad and the Green Goblin's home from the "Spiderman" movie, the latest famous property to hit the housing markets is the Indiana home that was featured in the 90's popular sitcom, "Roseanne".
The Connor Family was featured living in Illinois. However, shooting records of the serial show that, the Evansville, Indiana home was used to film the establishing shots of the serial, reports The Loop.
Originally built in 1925, the home has now been remodeled and renovated and shares little resemblance to the home featured in the serial. Sporting a price tag of $129,000, the single-family residence spreads across an area of 1912 square feet. The double story home comprises of four bedrooms and two bathrooms with a recreation room in the basement area. The newly renovated home now sports a modern kitchen and new decking on the front porch as well, reportsRealtor.com.
The home also has a two car garage and a fenced backyard. Two laundry rooms are also available in the home, reports Zillow.
The sitcom aired on ABC from 1988 to 1997 and ran for around nine seasons. The serial featured Roseanne Barr as the matriarchal head of the Connor family while John Goodman played the dad. The story of "Roseanne" revolved around a classic middle class American family where both parents worked.
"Roseanne" was ranked the #1 serial in the Nielsen ratings from 1989 to 1990. For six of its seasons it remained in the top four of "America's most watched TV show" and it was also ranked #35 on TV Guide's 50 Greatest TV Shows of All Time.
When Roseanne Barr was informed about the home's listing on Twitter, she tweeted back saying she knew someone who would probably buy the house, reports Realtor.com.
