A West Village pad would be the latest home for Bon Jovi lead singer, Jon Bon Jovi, having bought his newest apartment for under $12.95 million, according to an article on ny.curbed.com.
After successfully selling his 7,400-square-foot SoHo penthouse early this year for $34 million, the singer-actor turned his sights on the NYC real estate scene once again. The current West Village 4-bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms apartment is located in 150 Charles Street, and has a 75-foot pool (extremely wide for doing frequent laps) plus about 40,000 square feet of outdoor space. He may also have a pretty good view of his surroundings from there, as reported in the same article.
In another report on nypost.com, the condo unit also has a full staff, a lounge, a playroom for kids and a private covered driveway.
People.com also featured Bon Jovi's marital relationship with high school sweetheart Dorothea Hurley. The rocker has been married to Hurley for almost 26 years now, and his band is in the works on producing their 18th album. He also owns a very charitable restaurant called Soul Kitchen in New Jersey, taking name from Soul Foundation, which he founded as his way of giving back for all the rewards in life.
According to therichest.com, Jon Bon Jovi's current net worth is at $300 million. John Francis Bongiovi, Jr (his full name) gained hard rock fame during the mid-1980s when he and close friend guitarist Richie Sambora formed the band Bon Jovi. Their band's long-term success stemmed from unforgettable albums like "New Jersey" and "Slippery When Wet", which eventually became multi-platinum selling successes. Though disbanding and regrouping in 1999, Bon Jovi overcame their musical differences and released "Crus"h in 2000 with the single "It's My Life", that easily rose to the top of the music charts.
