Jennifer Lawrence is set to be seen on the big screen very soon in the fourth and final saga "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2." In a sit-down interview, the Oscar-nominated actress got real as she candidly answered questions about her life and career.
Lawrence has a promising career, award-winning nominations, big bucks of money (she is the highest-paid Hollywood actress), and a friendship with comedian and director Amy Schumer, but why did appear sad during her interview with The New York Times? The actress laid down everything and revealed exactly what's on her mind during the Q and A.
It's no secret that she faced challenges in the past and that she received backlash when her nude photos were hacked and her "American Hustle" salary was leaked. She also dished on how she was put into scrutiny when she first played the role of Katniss Everdeen in "Hunger Games" series.
"Could you maybe rattle off a few more mortifying things about me?" Lawrence asked before she admitted that she feels more confident now and more in control. "I'm calmer. I know that there's no point to feeling anxious all day, so I try not to. I'm still scared, but it's about different things."
The ex-girlfriend of Chris Martin also revealed that she tried Googling herself, USA Today reports.
"You try being 22, having a period and staying away from Google. I once Googled 'Jennifer Lawrence Ugly.' [Laughs] Do I sound bitchy?"
When asked how she deals with anxiety, the "Winter Bones" actress laughed and said that she has a prescription for it.
Lawrence has also been vocal about her friendship with "Trainwreck" star Amy Schumer. She revealed that their bond started with a simple email after she watched her in "Trainwreck." She said that it all began with emails then texting. Now she and Schumer are writing a movie together, UsWeekly reports.
Lawrence also talked about her last birthday where she met Kris Jenner for the first time. She gushed that she was very surprised and happy to meet her in person. They reportedly sang "Build Me Up Butter Cup" and even shared some photos on that day. The actress ended the interview by saying that she would miss her "Hunger Games" co-stars. The fourth saga is their last movie together.
