In the new trailer for "Arrow" Season 4, it seems like Oliver (Stephen Amell) is ready to take things with Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) to the next level.
According to Entertainment Weekly, in the recent trailer released by The CW, Oliver can be seen placing an engagement ring into a cupcake during an intimate dinner with Felicity. However, the moment was interrupted by some unexpected guests.
According to Comic Book Resources, these unexpected guests are Laurel (Katie Cassidy) and Thea (Willa Holland). It seems like Oliver needs to be back in action as it was earlier reported that new villains will be coming in Season 4.
The Hollywood Reporter said that it is possible that the new Team Arrow would need Oliver's help once again as they could not handle the new villains invading Star City. It was reported that Neal McDonough, who will be playing Damien Darhk, has magical powers. Executive producer Wendy Mericle revealed in an interview with the site that Season 4 will explore the themes of magic and mysticism.
Aside from Damien Darhk, JR Bourne will also appear as the villain Double Down. Meanwhile, the League of Assassins will be having a new leader as John Barrowman will be playing Malcolm Merlyn.
Other new characters were confirmed to appear in Season 4 like Terrific (Echo Kellum) and Anarky (Alexander Calvert). More crossover from other CW shows are expected as it was earlier reported that Matt Ryan, who is known for being the occult detective in "Constantine," and Caity Lotz will be featured in the show. Sara Lance will be revived as White Canary from the network's upcoming series, "DC's Legends of Tomorrow."
It was reported that Oliver will be transforming into the Green Arrow in Season 4 and he will be embracing his dark side in the upcoming season.
"Arrow" Season 4 will premiere on The CW on October 7.
