Noah (Dominic West) and Alison's (Ruth Wilson) relationship will get more complicated, as their spouses will appear in the Season 2 of "The Affair."
According to Christian Today, their spouses Cole (Joshua Jackson) and Helen (Maura Tierney) will make their already complicated relationship more complex.
The report reveals that in Season 2, the consequences of the affair will be apparent as the story will feature Cole and Helen's point of view. In the promo video for Season 2, it was reported that Helen realized that Noah has so many flaws; however, she still claims that she loves her husband despite not deserving her trust and love.
According to Christian Post, show creator Sarah Treem confirmed in an interview during the Television Critics Association's semi-annual press tour that the TV series will show different parts of the characters' lives in Season 2. She added that they will be moving in different time frames and the viewers will be left in to fill the gaps. This new set-up aims to give the show freedom to explore deeper the characters of Cole and Helen.
Meanwhile, it was reported that Cole will not give up on his wife Allison and he will reportedly do everything he can to win her back. It was reported that Cole will even go head to head with Noah just to show Alison that he deserves a second chance. However, reports speculate that there is more to Cole than meets the eye. Some sites think that Cole is planning a revenge on Allison which is why she should be careful of him.
With Helen and Cole in the picture, it was reported that more complex stories will be featured in the upcoming season. Noah and Allison will also deal with their own problems, which may lead to Alison's suicide attempts again.
"The Affair" Season 2 will premiere on October 4.
