According to the Star-Telegram, the Rocking W Ranch is among the biggest of its kind in Texas. Located about 45 minutes west of Fort Worth along the Parker and Palo Pinto county lines, it offers three-quarters of a mile of Brazos River frontage with significant water rights and mineral rights that are in production

Besides a 4,000-square-foot residence overseeing the Brazos Valley and additional quarters for staff and guests, the ranch also brags professional equine facilities, hundreds of acres of hay-producing land and diverse hunting terrain.

According to Allen Crumley, a farm and ranch specialist with Williams Trew Real Estate in Fort Worth, the Rocking W Ranch "unique in its diversity and features a beautiful blend of improved pastures and wildlife-friendly native habitat."

"Assemblages with the makeup this ranch offers are hardly ever made available and present a special opportunity for prospective buyers," Crumley said.

The 65-year-old daughter of Wal-Mart founder Sam Walton said that she need to let loose the ranch to focus more on her priorities like the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville, Ark.

"I have loved this business and this way of life," Walton said in a prepared statement. "But it is time for me to pull back and focus on other things that really matter to me."

"I've been stretched in too many directions and I want to get focused. I've got a house in Fort Worth, so I'm moving to town." Walton said about selling her ranch.
