The Pokemon company is taking the Pokemon franchise to new heights! They have announced the brand new Pokemon title, however, this time it won't be on your 3DS and it's gonna be a little bit 'real-life'.
Well, just sort of. According to tech website TechRadar, the next Pokemon craze will involve a smartphone augmented reality game which made possible by Niantic Labs and The Pokemon Company itself. Niantic Labs is the entity behind the GPS based ingress. Tech and animation giants really want to discover new horizons in creating new fads that people will hopefully go crazy over.
The app is a fun combination of smartphone games and real life plays. With the said Pokemon based game, you would be able to discover Pokemons as you go. It will track where you are, and you will also be able to catch, trade, and fight your monsters with those of others. Imagine living a life where Pokemons are ready to be caught and traded! It's practically a real-life cartoon movie made possible by genius minds.
You can go all the way with your Pokemon fascination by wearing the watch like device called Pokemon Go Plus that looks like a fancy bracelet with a Pokeball.
This watch pairs with your phone and it will rumble when you encounter a Pokemon. You don't need to check your phone for Pokemon encounters. Sorta like a smart watch, just a little more fun.
The said app will be available in iOS and Android Platforms and it's probably gonna hit the app stores in 2016, hopefully by the start of it. The marketing materials they use only show the original Pokemon. But there is also a big possibility that we are also gonna see other classic characters like Skrelp, Hoopa, Sliggoo, and more. We're nothing but excited about this new app. All Pokemon catchers, celebrate!
