Jessica Simpson made the headlines as she finally opened up about her pervious relationship during her appearance on CNBC's "Closing Bell" on September 10, Thursday. As per US Weekly, the pop singer then stated that being married to her ex, Nick Lachey, was a total waste of money. The host, Kelly Evans, asked Simpson to name some of her biggest money mistakes either personal or professional. Simpson then struggled to come up with the answer.
Simpson then answered her question with a playful laugh stating:
"The biggest money mistakes? I don't know. For some reason I thought of my first marriage!"
Evans then replied:
"That's actually a common answer, believe it or not,"
Simpson and Lachey were married for 4 years starting from 2002 to 2006. During their married life, the couple starred on MTV's reality show, "The Newlyweds." After their break up, the "98 degrees" singer moved in and married Vanessa Minnillo in 2011. They now have 2 kids, Camden,2 and their daughter Brooklyn, 8 months.
Jessica Simpson however dated Tony Romo and John Mayer before getting hitched with her recent husband, Eric Johnson. Simpson now has a daughter, Maxwell, 3 and her son Ace who is 2.
As per ET, Simpson doesn't want any additional kids for now. It is when she stated that having more kids would "freak her out, a little bit."
The busy mom then gave out tips on how she keeps herself in shape despite having two kids. "A lot of squats! A lot of push-ups, got to keep these things up, and running around with my kids. That is a diet in itself."
During his interview with Jenny McCarthy, Nick Lachey gave out some details regarding his relationship with his ex.
"I wouldn't say it's friends and I wouldn't say it's enemies - there is just no contact, we both moved on with our lives. It's not animosity, it's not friendship, it's just kind of nothing."
