A new teaser for "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7 was recently released online by The CW.
The teaser revealed how the residents of Mystic Falls will adapt to the changes that will take place because of the arrival of the Heretics. "We don't mess with them, they don't mess with us," Stefan could be heard telling his brother Damon in reference to their mother, Lily.
Meanwhile, Caroline (Candice Accola) couldn't disagree more with what Stefan just said. "We're making a huge mistake handing over our town to a bunch of supernatural terrorists!" she said.
The new teaser for "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7 also introduced the new villains that will be joining the characters on the show.
In other news, Accola previously spoke with E! News about her real-life pregnancy. The actress was also asked whether or not there's a chance that Caroline could be pregnant in Season 7.
Although there's still no confirmation on whether or not Caroline will have a pregnancy storyline, or whether or not the baby would be Stefan's, Accola said that she knows for sure they will be wonderful parents.
"I think with vamp speed that would definitely help with diaper changes. I don't know if they'd compel a baby not to cry? I don't know if that's cool for vampire parents to do," she said.
"The Vampire Diaries" Season 7 will also feature more scenes between Caroline and Stefan as well as Damon's attempts at getting over Elena (Nina Dobrev).
Executive producer Julie Plec previously confirmed that Damon and Bonnie will support each other throughout the entire season. Fans are speculating that the two could eventually become interested in each other romantically because of their closeness.
"The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 will premiere on The CW on Oct. 8 at 8 p.m. ET.
