According to entertainmentwise, it was revealed that Adele may be considering a residency in Las Vegas, joining the likes of Britney Spears, Celine Dion, Rod Stewart and Sir Elton John.
The trend of performing regularly at grand hotels is a proven practice among singers. Many celebrities are signing up for residencies in the city.
Adele is considering signing a short-period stay at a hotel in Las Vegas to enhance her vocal skills and deal with her incessant stage fright. Posh hotel owners are on their toes to lure the super singer to their premises, reports Daily Star.
"Adele is top of the Vegas hit-list and she's seriously considering it as an option," a source told Daily Star.
Moreover, after having a baby, Adele has become more careful about moving. A residency in the city would help her settle for a while and also work on her next album, reports entertainmentwise.
The award winning singer is all set to start performing live again but is apprehensive about a world tour. She would rather perform in Las Vegas than embark on a world tour, reports ATRL.com.
Adele will be performing her Grammy winning "Skyfall" song at the 85 Academy Awards , slated to be held on Sunday, Feb 24, 2013. She is currently in Vegas preparing for the performance. She has hired her old vocal teacher to keep her singing chords in tune. She has also been seeing a therapist to overcome her stage fright, reports MTV.
Adele has been taking performance and parenting advice from Sir Elton John, who has performed extensively at The Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, reports Daily Star.
"Elton's been like a godfather to her recently, helping her settle into life as a superstar and the challenges of being a parent. He eased her mind about returning to the stage, the significance of the Oscars and how she should return to playing live as she has such a great gift." the source told Daily star.
