'House of Cards' Season 4: Possible Release Date Later Than Expected

The fans are growing more and more impatient to know when the Season 4 of the hit Netflix political drama "House of Cards" will debut. The season finale of Season 3 was sort of a cliffhanger and has left fans eager to see, in the soonest possible time, what happens next after Claire Underwood packs up and leaves and what becomes of Frank's presidential race. The fans have been bombarding Netflix with so many questions and Netflix.com was able to provide fans a better view of when to expect the release of the hit online drama.

According to Netflixlife.com, "House of Cards" may be released in 2016 but not as soon as expected. In review of the release dates of the last three seasons of the show, a certain pattern was observed. The series debuted with its first season on Feb. 1, 2013. Then the second season aired on Feb. 14, 2015 and the third premiered on Feb. 27 of this year. Having said those dates, Netflixlife.com hopes to release the upcoming season on Feb. 26, 2016. However, there are possibilities that the release date may be pushed at a later or an earlier time.

Apparently, Netflix is keeping the release date a secret. According to Netflixlife.com, there are rumors that the fourth season of "House of Cards" will be pushed back to occur simultaneously with U.S. Presidential Election. The rumor seems farfetched but Netflix so far has not said anything to suggest that that is not possible. On the other hand, according to MNR Daily, several reports have revealed that Neve Campbell, from "Scream" movies and "Party of Five" TV series, will be joining the cast of "House of Cards" but the details of her role are still inexplicit. Other rumored guest stars in the upcoming season include Kim Dickens, Lars Mikkelsen and Paul Sparks.
