The "Gypsys, Tramps and Thieves" singer, Cher, has listed her condominium in West Hollywood, Los Angeles, for $5.5 Million.
News of the listing was first reported by TMZ. The Condo is in the Sierra Towers, which also happens to be home to other celebrities like, Sir Elton John, Joan Collins, Courtney Cox and Matthew Perry.
According to listing records, Cher purchased the home in 2006 for $4.5 million and renovated the place according to her tastes and style. Her condo is the only duplex apartment in the building.
Sierra Towers is a high rise residential tower in the posh area of West Hollywood, California. It was built in 1965 and was originally called the "Spoon Apartment". It has 31 floors and two elevators. It offers luxury services like 24/7 concierge facilities, a pool area with a sundeck, a modern fitness center and fantastic city views.
Cher is believed to have a liking for neutral colors and a knack for fine decoration.
Interiors of the Malibu mansion speak of her elegant taste. The home was also featured in the August, 2002 issue of The Architectural Digest.
Cher had listed her Malibu water-front home for $45 million in 2008. After tweaking the interiors a little, Cher listed the home again for $41million in 2009. However, the listing was removed in February 2010 and the home has not been on the market since then.
Cher had better luck trading away her Hawaii home in 2010 , which sold in an auction for $8.72 million.
Cher has delivered some of the best pop songs of all times. She is called the "Goddess of Pop" and has won multiple awards for her contribution to the music world. She won an Oscar for her performance in "Moonstruck" in 1988. Her song "Believe" topped the chartbusters in the same year beating Celine Dion's "My Heart will Go on".
More recently, her new single "Woman's World" has gained much popularity. Some unofficial remixes of the song have been doing the rounds. However, Cher seems to have liked one of the remixes and praised it on Twitter.
