One Direction 2015 News: Louis Tomlinson Assures Directioners That They Will Get Back Together After 1-Year Hiatus

After One Direction announced that they'd be going on a yearlong break after their "On the Road Again" tour, fans and followers alike fear that the hiatus might mark the inevitable split of the British boy band. After prized member Zayn Malik's departure, many have assumed that this was the beginning of the end for the band.

Hollywood Life reports to the millions of fan girls' delight that Louis Tomlinson has assured fans that they'll definitely reunite after the break. He gave such confirmation at the last leg of their tour in Boston, MA. Louis and another member, Niall Horan, have also made such assurance on their respective Twitter pages after their announcement. They also have an album that's pending for release just before their break, which they have promised to be "pure greatness."

It comes to no surprise that the boys will go on a break; after all, they've been working nonstop for the last five years! Fuse reports that this is indeed a "well-earned break."

However, the same source also indicates that the original report mentioned that the hiatus would be indefinite, thus the ruckus and panic of fans. Additionally, the same piece also reports that they boys would be pursuing solo projects and they won't go on a tour to promote their last and Zayn-free album.

Fans shall only see after the hiatus if they really are getting back together as a group. In an interview with Julian Bunetta by Billboard, it was said that this was a calculated and well thought-out move by the band and their management. Bunetta shares, "There was a lot of them not knowing if they were going to take a break or not, because that wasn't decided just yesterday. There was definitely some of that going on, [but] it wasn't like every day was depressing in the studio."

One Direction has been very vocal about their gratitude towards the outpour of support to the band throughout the years. Many are sure that all members will do spectacularly during that well-deserved break and downtime, and everyone's excited about what they can offer individually.
