In the new promotional video for "The Originals" Season 3, Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) opens up to Cami O'Connell (Leah Pipes) about his fears.
According to International Business Times, the original vampire-werewolf hybrid now feels alone as a consequence of the decisions he made in the Season 2 finale.
Because of this, it was reported that his siblings, Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and Rebekah (Claire Holt/Maisie Richardson-Sellers), do not want to be by his side anymore after Klaus chose to betray his family and friends to defeat Aunt Dahlia (Claudia Black).
In the process, he also had to betray Marcel Gerard (Charles Michael Davis) and Hayley Marshall (Phoebe Tonkin) to protect his daughter. It was earlier reported that new villains are coming to cause trouble in the town; will the siblings put their conflict aside in order to protect their home?
During the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con, Daniel Gillies revealed in an interview that Elijah will be focusing on helping Hayley. He explained that he will find a way to free Hayley from the Crescent Curse which Klaus placed on her.
However, in the new trailer for Season 3 featured in Entertainment Weekly, it can be seen that Klaus, Elijah and Rebekah are going to face the first sired vampires as they invade New Orleans. There are also promotional photos which reveal the intense meeting between Klaus and one of his sired vampires named Lucien (Andrew Lees).
In the end of the new trailer, Freya Mikaelson (Riley Voelkel) says to the original vampire family, "You will all fall," while Klaus becomes his normal temperamental self. It was earlier reported that these sired vampires will try to invade the Mikaelsons' home, and Klaus will have a hard time fighting them off.
"The Originals" Season 3 will premiere on October 8 on The CW.
