Miranda Lambert and ex-husband Blake Shelton split up in July at the height of cheating allegations. However, with Lambert's recent social media post, could it mean that she's still hurting from her divorce with "The Voice" coach?
Recently, Lambert, 31, posted on Facebook a photo of her lying on NYC sidewalk beside a message imprinted on the road. She claimed that the emotional message that says "Protect Yo Heart" touched her. The chart-topping country singer reportedly didn't waste any time and decided to capture the moment.
Lambert, who was wearing a tight-fitting lace dress, got on the floor to have her photo taken by a friend, UsWeekly reports. "I don't normally lay on the sidewalk in NYC," Lambert said of the photo. "Words move me. Words make me move. #NYC."
Just two weeks ago, the 31-year-old award-winning recording artist sang a heartbreaking classic song of Loretta Lynn about divorce, "Rated X," at the ACM Honors. Last month, she also admitted that she's coping up with her divorce through alcohol. She once said she wished she's been drinking full day because she deserves it; she just got divorced.
Meanwhile, while the "Holding on You" singer was trying to insinuate that she's dealing with her divorce badly, her former husband has been dragged into dating rumors lately. Shelton and Gwen Stefani, who are both "The Voice" coaches, were reportedly seen flirting with each other on the set of the reality singing show.
"The chemistry between them is off the charts. Everyone on set sees that Blake and Gwen are falling for one another," a source told Life & Style magazine via Hollywood Life. "They're trying to keep it on the down-low, but it's not happening partly because they're all over each other."
According to the reports, Shelton and Stefani have indulged in intimate lunches and hung out in the dressing room in between takes. The insider went to add that when they're not together, Blake calls Gwen. Miranda's ex reportedly had given Gwen small gifts and sees her as the "ultimate woman" for him.
However, new reports claim that there's no truth behind Shelton and Stefani dating rumors. Neither of "The Voice" coaches has commented on the issue.
Do you think Lambert is still hurting about her divorce with her former husband?
