It's red carpet grand slam for Hollywood couple Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. The hot Hollywood couple attended the premiere of The Danish Girl on Saturday at the Toronto International Film Festival, walking the red carpet and posing for pictures together hand in hand. The 29-year-old Heard donned a glamorous taupe gown with metallic embellishments while maintaining an au naturel look for her hair and makeup. On the other hand, 52-year-old Depp looked dashing himself by wearing a brown pin-striped suit polished with his usual style, sunglasses and a fedora hat.
According to People.com, this is the third time this year that the duo attended a red carpet event together. Back in January, Depp and Heard first attended the UK premiere of Mortdecai. Then Last week Depp and Heard also attended together the premiere of Depp's new film Black Mass and Heard's The Danish Girl at the Venice Film Festival, where the two wore matching black outfits and they were said to have kissed in front of photographers.
Amber Heard's movie "The Danish Girl" is about the revolutionary life of Lili Elbe, who is one of the first to have undergone a gender-reassignment surgery. She plays Oola Paulso who is the artist friend of Lily Elbe, played by Eddie Redmayne. The Danish Girl will come to selected theaters on Nov. 27.
On the other hand, Johnny Depp's Black Mass is about the Boston mob boss and FBI informant James "Whitey" Bulger, with which he has been commended for his dramatic transformation to resemble "Jimmy Bulger". Speaking about his dramatic look, he told Variety, "I thought it was very important to look as much like Jimmy Bulger as humanly possible. My eyeballs are black as the ace of spades. So the blue contacts were hand-painted because they need to be piercing; they needed to cut through you."
