With "LG G4"'s contemporary design and resolution, as well as its powerful camera, the G4 was definitely made to stand out in 2015. Although according to TechRadar, the "LG G4" stood out for the wrong reasons but it still remains one of the most impressive phones of the year.
The "iPhone 6S" on the other hand also has all the best features that can impress anyone in 2015. It is said to have all that it takes to outsell other phones with its premium build, great camera, and outstanding processor. But the question is, can it beat the "LG G4"?
As for the DESIGNS, 6S may have the more elegant look with its slim metal build and fingerprint scanner. We can say that it is one of Apple's best as far as design in concerned. But of course, its undeniable that it looks quite similar to the "iPhone 6."
The "LG G4" on the other hand, has this leather back which is quite interesting. The way LG designed its thinness may be good or bad, depending on your preference. The rear keys are also an arguably unique idea. Although of course, the rear keys may use some 'getting used to' time if you did not come from an LG phone.
For the DISPLAY, "iPhone 6S" is fairly compact and sharp. It has a 4.7 inch 1331 x 750 display. "LG G4" may not be too compact with its 5.5 inch display. But the fact that it uses 1440 x 2560 display, it is way sharper than the 6S. And despite it being IPS LCD, the G4 has an impressive pixel density, with its 538 pixels per inch. "LG G4" may have one of the best QHD display yet.
The PERFORMANCE of both phones may be fairly similar. The G4 has a hexa core Snapdragon 808 processor and 3GB RAM and the 6S has the great A9 processor. "LG G4" performs great and the "iPhone 6S" should do the same, especially that Apple creates both 6S' hardware and software. The great consideration Apple gives to both the hardware and software must do 6S all the good.
For the two phones' CAMERA, we can say that "LG G4" got it all right. It has a 16 MP sensor and an f/1.8 aperture that will get you amazed in shooting low light scenes. It also has an optical image stabilisation as well as a quick laser auto focus. All these cam features makes the "LG G4" one of the fanciest camera phones yet. G4's manual controls allow you to tweak the settings all you want and its 8 MP front camera also makes the phone your ultimate selfie buddy, if you're into the selfie game.
"iPhone 6S" may not be too bad as well. It has a 12 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front cam. These are already quite an upgrade from the previous iPhone. As good as a camera phone the "iPhone 6S" is, you can't really tune your shots as much as you can with the G4. But if all you need is a point and shoot camera, the iPhone 6S is one of the greatest options so far.
BATTERY LIFE is such a crucial factor in choosing a phone. And as for "LG G4," it may not have the good battery life LG phones usually have. According to tech website TechRadar, it isn't that awful, but it may only last a day if you use it moderately. But the one thing that "LG G4" battery offers that the iPhones doesn't, is that it is removable. So you can swap it with a spare if you need to.
The "iPhone 6S" doesn't seem like it has any plans to make its battery removable. But if we believe what Apple claims, the battery life of the "iPhone 6S" can last up to 14hrs for talk time or 11hrs for video watching, which sounds great.
The PRICES of the "iPhone 6S" and the "LG G4" is nowhere near each other. And you might have guessed it right, the "iPhone 6S" is more expensive than the G4. 6S starts at £539 and the G4 is around £330. If you are looking to buy one of these two phones now, your access may be easier if you aim for the "LG G4" as the "iPhone 6S" is still in high demands, so stocks are expected to remain low for the coming weeks.
As a CONCLUSION, if you're into a phone's display and camera, the "LG G4" is the right choice, especially with its price comparison with the 6S. But if you are into the overall experience, the "iPhone 6S" is the best choice, especially for its appealing design and better battery life.
