'One Plus' News: What's Up With OnePlus' Latest Teaser - Something Luxurious is On The Way?

Chinese company OnePlus has been quite busy this year with the launch of the "One Plus 2." However, the company isn't done just yet as they teased something new in their social media page, saying "Something luxurious is coming to OnePlus. What could it be?". It showed a picture of what appears to be leather and colored shoe lace. Whatever they are teasing us with, no one's sure. Although we're sure that they are leaning towards luxury, as the picture has the sentence "A bit of welcome luxury." Whether they are going for accessories or a new device, we are yet to find out. The comments received by the post may have a sour tone in them, possibly caused by the disappointment of potential customers when the "OnePlus 2" had a slow roll out. The company's CEO Carl Pei did admit that the launch may have gone in a smoother manner. Their apology is quite clear actually, something you don't usually hear from defensive tech giants. It goes:

"I'd like to apologize on behalf of OnePlus for the delay.
To our fans, sorry. We were equally excited when we saw your excitement around the 'OnePlus 2.' We know how it feels waiting and waiting for something you really want, while being given ETAs that go unfulfilled. We appreciate the trust and support that you have given to a relatively small and unknown company like OnePlus. We know that you are rooting for us, and want nothing more than to see us succeed. Therefore, it feels extra terrible to let you down this time around, again."

Tha is just a part of the long explanation OnePlus gave. The company has a lot to prove this time, so the teaser may just be a start of the good things coming from the manufacturer.

However, the only thing that is certain by now is that OnePlus is scheduled to release another phone before Christmas. According to Pei, "there's going to be a second phone this year, before the end of the year. Hopefully for Christmas". Although of course, we can't tell yet whether this coming OnePlus phone would be more powerful than the previous model, but Pei has good words for it,"When I saw the prototype for that phone I was like 'holy s*** that's going to be my daily driver.'"
