The union will be happening again for "Arrow" and "The Flash" and this time, it would be for the new CW series "DC's Legends of Tomorrow." "The Flash" and "Arrow" spinoff were reported even before but to excite the would-be viewers of this upcoming series, Cartermatt reports that Glen Winter is the appointed director in charge of the two episodes of the superhero series.
According to the article, Marc Guggenheim who is one of the writers of the two-part pilot episode revealed on a Twitter post that Glen Winter will be directing the pilot episodes. Winter is not a new name when it comes to directing superhero pilot episodes. Winter has directed the premiere episode of "Supergirl" and he was also one of the man behind the "Arrow-Flash" crossover and also directed numerous episodes of "Arrow." Winter being in-charge, we might expect a lot of action and special effects on the pilot episodes of "DC's Legends of Tomorrow."
As revealed by DC Comics last Fri., superhero characters portraying Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee) and Hawkman (Falk Hentschel) in the series already wore their costumes. The characters' powers were based from the ancient Egyptian hawk god named "Horus" and that both characters are destined to reincarnate as warriors. The said actors will be known from their character's real name Kendra Saunders and Carter Hall and that the new CW series will be will be based from these characters.
The new CW series are packed with a new ring of superheroes, aside from Hawkgirl and Hawkman, the other main characters joining them are Professor Martin Stein/ Firestorm (Victor Garber), White Canary (Caity Lotz), The Atom (Brandon Routh), Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill), Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), and Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell).
There's no definite schedule given yet for "Legends of Tomorrow" series but it may premiere anytime in Jan. 2016.
