When it comes to popularity in the social media, someone has just taken over Kim Kardashian and Beyoncé. Reports have it that over the weekend, Taylor Swift has become the newest InstaQueen (or Instagram Queen), by having a total of 46.3 million followers on this site, beating both the reality TV personality and the singer who were leading before Swift's ascend to throne.
Among the photos that may have raked such a huge number of followers were Swift's photo that was posted on Monday where she was modelling a sweater that a fan knitted for her. The sweater was an exact replica of that Polaroid photo of the pop icon in the package for her 1989 album, including the handwritten caption. Then there was this photo that Swift posted, a cover of the new EP by Troye Sivan, the YouTube star. Sivan has over 3.4 million subscribers to his channel in the video sharing site. Swift commented that she was a fan of Sivan. Swift also has this adorable photo of herself with her cat, Olivia Benson, posted on Instagram.
