The Detroit Tigers rightfielder, Torii Hunter, has listed his luxury home for sale in Newport Beach, California, asking for $3.9 million.
Hunter had purchased the home back in 2007 for $3.8 million when he had signed a 5-year contract with the Los Angeles Angels. With the contract at an end and a new $26 million deal with Detroit Tigers, Hunter has decided to part with the mansion.
According to listing details, the home was built in 2006 and occupies an area of 4346 square feet. The house comprises of six bathrooms and five bedrooms, all featuring hardwood flooring and custom drapery. The interiors are done with sophisticated taste and resort-style amenities.
A gourmet kitchen, an infinity pool along with a separate pool house and an outdoor kitchen are some of its other features.

Newport Beach has become a popular sports star base camp. Earlier, sportscaster Bob Costas purchased a home in the area. Boston Red Sox player, John Lackey has also listed his property located in the Crystal Cove area of Newport Beach.
The talented sports star is a four time "All-star" game winner and recently won the Heart and Hustle award in 2011. He also has nine Golden Glove Awards to his credit.
He recently grabbed headlines when his comments about playing with a "gay" team member created uproar among the masses.
"For me, as a Christian... I will be uncomfortable because in all my teachings and all my learning, biblically, it's not right. It will be difficult and uncomfortable," Hunter said in an interview with Los Angeles Times.
